Tree dwellers danced, in great forests of old,
‘Round the towering Scots of the highlands,
Resin dribbled to seal, where they needed to heal,
Amber later was found in the islands;
Sweet Rebeccah the queen, said goodbye to her king,
On a bed of soft needles and flowers,
Elves and fairies made haste, as no time could they waste,
To encase her in sap with their powers;
And then she awoke, from a beautiful dream,
To a world that had changed ever after,
But her spirit was there, having never a care,
Finding Rhonan and chortling with laughter;
How complex it became, once the centuries passed,
When the fossilized minerals melted,
Goddess girl, handsome guy, what the hell, my-oh-my,
You’re a stranger, how I love you, yes I felt it;
Tree dwellers danced, in great forests of old,
‘Round the towering Scots of the highlands,
Resin dribbled to seal, where they needed to heal,
Amber later was found in the islands.
*Representations of amber as fossilized resin from Scots Pines of the Highlands. The Scots Pine is the national tree of Scotland.
