Blustery winds, waves, and watercolors painted the seascape with dynamic decadence,
Throwing slanted rain and salty spray at the cliffsides, houses, and wandering passersby,
Like an expressionistic artist, creating a masterpiece through nature’s revery,
Tossed against a canvas, dripping deliciously down its rectangular face,
Hung to dry in the gallery of a birthday song,
Playing joyfully for me today, reminding me of something,
Something I remember and forget,
Something adolescent, something iridescent, something I have not discovered yet,
Singing through the surging insecurities, blending colors, and unquestioned answers,
Singing through alacrity and grace,
Singing through the souls of truth and light, or love and giving,
Singing in the openness of space,
Space between the atoms, words, and whispers making meaning,
Space around our thoughts, desires, and plans,
Space within our innocence, fire, and acquiescent longing,
Space to sculpt the countenance of Man.
