My life
I grew up in a love rich, cash poor family that launched the series of miracles becoming my life. In it, I’ve sustained multiple traumas, clinically died twice, and lost my outer vision to blindness; and yet succeeded beyond the grandest of my dreams. Despite my vision loss, I earned a Ph.D. in psychology and obtained multiple professional licenses. I’ve purchased six homes — two in southern California and three in Hawaii. I’ve had a flourishing self-employed psychology practice in Hawaii for the past 12 years. I’m a songwriter, artist, and producer with my own label, 40+ songs at iTunes, and an original track that made it into the AC Top 40. I’ve published poetry and healing articles in journals and magazines. I’ve pursued training and obtained credentials in various genres of alternative medicine. I’m a workout freak, and coach people in fitness and nutrition. I’ve yet to find my soulmate in this life, but I can feel her coming, and I’ve been blessed with many beautiful relationships. I’m the happiest person I know, and feel so much joy and bliss flowing through me that often all I can do is smile and cry. I accomplished these and other things by practicing the methods outlined in this book — first to survive, and then to thrive.
