When spiritual truth intersects with material world illusion, through the supernatural love of two as one; when it blossoms out of ether into human form and fashion, when it dazzles our awareness, like a flowering sun; when we find it, know it, eat it, drink it; and breathe its inspiration every day; when it joins our dreams, past lifetime things, staying selflessly beside us all the way; how do we dignify its presence within the context of what now is underway? How do we prioritize material world values, beliefs, and commitments when something so esteemed has seized the day?
True Love
Although some weave such words to create romantic fantasy, serve their human egos, or manipulate desires to get their way; some actually do reflect the light of truth’s sweet ray. If you ever really discover what I am doing a very poor job of describing, then your life will no longer be your life — it will be a shared eternity rediscovered. This will consist of great joy and fulfillment, companionship and longing, and the comfort of knowing that there is always someone right beside you. But what of the pre-existing material world contexts, like relationships, families, careers, and traditions? How do we balance, reconcile, or release our ego attachments to them in the light of gods and goddesses, higher truth, and unified souls? How do we deal with the probability that few, if any, in the material world will really understand? How do we protect ourselves, and others, from potential judgements, misinterpretations, and emotional reactions? How do we dignify, embrace, and actualize this supernatural love and beauty without harming ourselves or others in the process?
Living In Spiritual Awareness
To even think this way reflects the egoic concepts of material world illusion. In the absence of the human mind, and its associated emotions; and in the presence of the true spiritual light; such concerns do not exist. They are not real. They are figments of our ego and emotion created by our brain, through its limbic system and brain stem, to help us survive when under threat. They are primitive instincts that “evolved” from serving our survival needs to serving our ego. They confuse our brain into believing that we are under threat, and that we must fight or run away in order to survive (literally fight or run away, or symbolically through attitudes or emotions of anger and aggression, or distancing and withdrawal, respectively). When we remain high within our spiritual awareness, these things do not exist. We are aware of the love, and its truth, and welcome it into our lives because it is beautiful, purposeful, and pure. We do this without analyzing it, avoiding it, or worrying about what people think. If we allow ourselves to become vulnerable to material world influences, then we may be drawn down into mind-based things from time to time. As long as we can clearly distinguish between truth and illusion; holding on to higher consciousness along the way; then we could experience this vulnerability as a brand new day. If we confuse them, and cannot clearly distinguish between the priorities of spiritual truth and the distractions of material world illusion; then we will likely vacillate in our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions based on who we are around or what we are doing; like a personality chameleon; often confusing even ourselves pursuant to perceived priorities and possibilities.
My World
No matter how it is perceived, there are times when those possessing higher consciousness may need to remain hidden in their pursuit of deeper truth and higher love. If we consider the secret corridors, passages, and tunnels; both literally and figuratively; created to help human slaves escape to freedom in the United States; or those targeted by Hitler’s regime in Nazi Germany; or victims of child abuse or domestic violence; or those controlled by economic or mental manipulation; it becomes clear that some things must remain furtive in order to be effective. If the slave owners, Nazi regime, and abusers were informed of the plans to free or release their captives; then the outcomes would likely have been different. When it comes to the more subtle spiritual things, the higher vibrational processes; it may be equally as important that they remain camouflaged in order to succeed. And, although vibrating at higher frequencies, and therefore harder for many to see; the shackles of the human mind form an even greater type of suffering than slavery or genocide. The lower the vibrational frequency, the more easily things are perceived by the masses. The higher the frequency, the less easily perceived. A metaphor to this could be the wings of a fly. When stationary, or lower vibrational, its wings can be easily perceived by human vision. When moving, they disappear from physical view, although they are just as real). Looking back, it is easy for most to understand the need for secrecy in these concrete, material world examples (slavery, genocide, abuse). But back then, based on the various beliefs of the era; it would not have been understood or accepted by many. Currently, as our vibration is generally higher, more are understanding higher things; but most remain stuck within the constraints of the material world view. So it is therefore difficult for them to understand the higher spiritual things, their purpose or causes, or their love and light (as it would have been difficult for the slave owners, Nazis, and abusers to understand the reasons for freeing their captives and changing the social rules).
In my world, at least since I was eight, I have been aware of higher things and higher places. I have consistently made decisions based on spiritual, rather than material world principles. I have not afforded myself the luxury of caring about what other people think, realizing that I will usually be misunderstood. And my life is a series of miracles. Having sustained more than 20 traumas, flatlining twice; and being the happiest person I know; I can honestly say that light and love are worthy of our focus. When discovering true love, in my humble opinion, there is nothing more important to change our lives for. Through it, through its transformative power and radiance, we have more light to change the world, with love beside us.
What would you do, if you discovered a love like this? What if you were married? What if they were? What if they were the same gender and, as far as you knew, you were straight? What would you do? How would you go about determining your course of action? What principles would guide you? What methods would you use to insure that the highest possible consciousness was being considered?
