Love consciousness; or our inner awareness of joy and fulfillment, the essence of unconditional love that exists within all beings; is the most natural thing that we could ever feel. It broadens when we accept ourselves completely, and deeply live within the present moment. Most of us have experienced it while expressing ourselves creatively, interacting with nature, or meditating. Love consciousness is a prerequisite of human evolution, and can be accessed through mindfulness. We have given enough of our attention to the past, and will have plenty for the future when it gets here; so why not focus on what lives within us right now. This will open doors to universal consciousness, flood us with joy and fulfillment, and help us consciously co-create our goals and dreams. Everything else is egoic illusion anyway, and, I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to waste my precious time investing in distracting things that aren’t even real.
Unlocking the Door to Love Realization
Mindfulness is the key to true love’s door. Most of us know how to enter present moment awareness, can do it while focusing on it during a structured exercise, but may find it challenging to maintain as a continuous way of life. Things like worry and guilt, fear and unhappiness, or self doubt and stress can pull us out of our love consciousness. When we learn how to live in a place of permanent mindfulness, we will exist within a state of joy and fulfillment, peace and stability, and compassion and intuition that is impervious to material world influences. We will be connected with universal consciousness, living in alignment with our true nature. So here is a little exercise that will help get us there. Take a moment to celebrate love in its pure bliss and beauty. Avoid associating love with relationships, and praise it for its essence of joy and fulfillment. Think to yourself, “I honor love in its pure bliss and beauty, and seek its fulfillment in my life.” While doing so, visualize the region of your heart. Pause for a few moments, and then repeat the thought. When your mind wanders, just bring it back again. Do this for 30 minutes, remembering to leave space between the thoughts. After practicing daily for one month, increase the time to 60 minutes, and leave longer spaces between the thoughts. Keep a journal of your experiences during the structured practice, and also the level of mindfulness you are able to maintain in your day-to-day life (during the times when you are not actively practicing the exercise). Whatever happens, accept it with alacrity, grace, and enthusiasm! You are investing in your joy and fulfillment. You are developing love consciousness.
Love Is Not A Relationship
Love is an awareness of natural joy and fulfillment, a sensing of a vibrational frequency of truth, existing within the conscious infinite light of creation. Love is not a relationship. Love can and does exist whether or not a relationship is established based on it. Relationships can and do exist with and without the presence of love. Emotions and actions are not love. They are elements of relationships. They can reflect love, but they are not love. They often represent the type of relationship we are sharing with another. They are generated by the mind, and often confused with what love is. Love is a naturally occurring spiritual thing, and cannot be created or destroyed by what we think, feel, say, or do, although relationships certainly can be. If we focus on developing love consciousness, then everything in our lives, including our relationships, will benefit from it. Doing so may also lead to the ending of superficial, unfulfilling relationships, and free us up for something more.
